A Chartered Certified Accountant with over 12 years' experience in accounting and finance, including 2 years in industry-based management accounting roles and 4 years in systems implementation and system consulting roles

Since joining Business Advisory Solutions, Mairead has worked on a number of mid-market ERP projects for multi-entity and multi-national companies.  She is currently working with Stephen on the new ERP project for the IT and professional services client mentioned in the summary of Stephen’s work.

Prior to joining Business Advisory Solutions, Mairead was the in-house day-to-day lead on a major information systems implementation project of a mid-market ERP system at a large medical group in Australia.  Mairead was a core member of the team responsible for developing the business’s information system requirements and was closely involved in the selection process for the new system. During the implementation project, Mairead managed the day-to-day implementation of the new system across 84 legal entities, working alongside the systems implementation team from Deloitte. Mairead’s work included migrating the financial records from 84 separate small business accounting systems into the new ERP system, implementing a new payroll solution and also an AP automation add-on to the ERP system.

Mairead trained at Baker Tilly, where she completed her ACCA qualification (she was placed 5th out of 23,600 students in one of her final exams).

On completion of her training contract, Mairead then worked for Grant Thornton in Dublin for 1.5 years before moving to Australia for 2 years.
